There are certain ethical values which are important to us at Share Salisbury. We will attempt to be in line with the best working practice as detailed below. We acknowledge that it is not always possible or practical to be completely perfect which is why we will never promise to be so. BUT we will endeavor to do the best we can be while maintaining complete transparency and acknowledge areas where we can improve.
The Planet
It is important to protect the environment and adopt a business practice that can exist within environmental boundaries of the planet. Check out doughnut economics as a good example of this. We will consider our impact at every step of the journey and chose processes, suppliers & resources we believe are the most ethical. A fully carbon neutral business is the ultimate goal but this is not possible right away.
Accessibility
It is important that the Library of Things is available for everyone to use. Accessibility for disabled people will be taken into account when making any decisions. The information we hold on customers will be kept secure in accordance with the Data protection act 2008 and GDPR regulations. We promise that no information will ever be sold on to 3rd parties.
