Share Salisbury (A Library of Things) isn't the first!
Share Salisbury (A Library of Things) opened in lockdown of 2021. The idea had come about by a group of locals looking to provide simple solutions to help people and the planet.
A Library of Things can help minimize consumption whilst ensuring that people with less money or storage capacity don’t go without stuff. Share Salisbury isn’t an original idea, SHARE:Frome has been going for over 5 years and actually inspired the founders of Share Salisbury to bring a similar enterprise to Salisbury!
Below is a list of all the other Library of Things from around the world (that we are aware of) so they are all in one nice handy place. If you are travelling in the near future, why not drop in and say hello.
Each Library of Things is a little different to the last but they all are 100% guaranteed to be filled with interesting things and wonderful people!

Another very worthwhile mention (despite not being a Library of Things) is Olio. This is an app that encourages local food and item sharing with neighbours. If you arent already signed up, do it now and bag yourself some freebies!
